We are accepting applications for Puppy Raisers.  If you would like more information about this special gift of love, please click here.

Your donation of any amount will help Canine Crossroads provide the gift of independence.

  Give The Gift Of Independence

Have you always wanted to help someone with the gift of independence but did not know how?  You have the opportunity to help someone by donating a puppy to our Puppy Raiser Program.

We know that as breeders you take special care of your puppies through selective breeding.  Canine Crossroads appreciates the generosity of those breeders who entrust us with one of their babies to place in our Puppy Raiser Program.

If you are interested in donating a puppy, please email us and let us know the breed and age of the puppy.  The Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test link to the right is a wonderful source of information to help you in your selection of what types of personalities we are needing.

While we will accept most breeds for potential Service/Assistance Dog work, there are breeds that we are seeking:

Border Collie                         Collie - Smooth Coat

German Shepherd                 Golden Retriever

Labrador Retriever                Labradoodles

Portuguese Water Dog         Standard Poodle

If you do not see your breed in the above list, do not hesitate to email with your breed to donate.  We know that mixed breeds and shelter dogs are just as capable as purebreds and thus we are seeking dogs that test as potential SDs or Therapy Dogs from shelters and other breed types.

We are currently seeking dogs to place in Guardian Homes as breeders for future SDs.  Should you desire to donate a puppy or adult dog for our Guardian Program, please email us and you will be sent information about the requirements of that program.  Likewise, we are seeking Guardian Homes for our future Service Dog Breeders.

Thank You Breeders!                   Thank You Breeders!                             Thank You Breeders!

Rutland Manor

Rutland Manor is the co-founder of the Australian Labradoodle and the wonderful breeder who gave us our start by donating our very first puppy to be trained as a Service/Assistance Dog.

Rutland Manor has now donated many Australian Labradoodles to Canine Crossroads for training as Service/Assistance Dogs.

What a privilege it is for Canine Crossroads to work with Beverley at Rutland Manor.

         Thank you Beverley!!
