Canine Crossroads Foundation (CCF) was the dream of the President and Founder Mindy Bradley. Mindy began CCF 16 months after being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. It was her desire to give the gift of independence to people with all types of disabilities through highly trained Service Dogs. She spent countless hours working tirelessly to fulfil her goal.

Through her efforts, many lives have been touched. Service dogs, Therapy dogs, and wonderful Companion dogs have brought joy to many families. In everything she did, she honored her Savior, Jesus Christ.

In January of 2008, Mindy went home to be with her Lord. After looking for over a year and a half for someone to replace Mindy, the board has come to the conclusion that she cannot be replaced. Mindy truly was the very heartbeat of CCF. Therefore, we regretfully are announcing the closing of Canine Crossroads Foundation. For those who are reading this who are in possession of a CCF dog, our hope is that he/she will continue to be a blessing to you and your family.

The true disability is not defined by whichever caused the blindness; the need to use a wheel chair nor requirement of hearing-aids ETC. The biggest disabling or empowering factor is in how one lives their lives and how they choose to treat all others around them in response to such a great burden yet such an honour."
